Day 2: 02.12.2010 ~ Inside the Bryant Park tents
~HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR, it’s the Year of the TIGER! And Happy Valentine’s Day too! I’ll be kept busy today with fashion week shows and presentations but hope you all have a great one with your family and loved ones! Stay warm! Get ’em red envelopes and red roses! xoxo, w~
Now back to New York Fashion Week, days 1 and 2 passed with a packed schedule. Missed/skipped a few shows and presentations here and there, knocked out a few times at home thinking I’ll just be taking a power nap. Still sick and being out from day to night doesn’t help neither, not complaining just saying…Sorry blog posts are slow, I wish I can split myself into two and do everything but I’m just one woman blogging! My apologies to readers and other bloggers that say hello if I looked dazed, I swear it’s all the meds I’m taking to kill the cough and cold, it was great meeting you all.
Inside the Tents: In honor of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week’s final season in Bryant Park luxury brand, MCM brought the infamous Fountain to life one last time with a chic branded display. To coincide with Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week’s long standing heritage at the tents, MCM presents a celebratory lifestyle display of Cognac Visetos bags and luggage, a collection signature to the evolution of the brand throughout the decades. In its ode to the history made at Bryant Park, the four vignettes depict lifestyles synonymous with the event.
Before the Charlotte Ronson show I stopped by Vivienne Tam‘s store for an exclusive blogger preview of her upcoming collaboration with Monster. Together they’ll be releasing a limited edition in-ear headphone, it’s fab. Can’t wait to tell you guys all about it! You can read the press release here in the meantime.
Please bear with me as posts slowly trickle in randomly, less words and more pictures. More pics after the jump…

Day 2: 02.12.2010 ~ Inside the tents…
Scene one, What a Swell Party, portrays young stylistas wearing 80’s-inspired party dresses and over the top glamour à la Sex and the City.
Scene two, Central Park, shows a simply stated couple taking a leisurely stroll in the park impeccably dressed in matching classic trench coats.
Representing modern glamour, scene three, MCM Executive Decision, exemplifies the contemporary businesswoman; powerful and feminine. The ladies in this scene are sharply dressed; one dons a sophisticated blazer and the other a lavish sequin cocktail dress.
Lastly, two super-chic luxuriously dressed women in, World Traveler, eye an attractive valet as he pushes a cart loaded with their MCM Luggage.
Ran into Jordana and Jennine, lovely gurls! <3 them.
Diet Coke, presenting sponsor of The Heart Truth’s Red Dress 2010 Collection, will be offering samples of their special edition aluminum bottles of Diet Coke featuring The Heart Truth, along with specially made straws and napkins promoting The Heart Truth campaign and its hearth health messages.
LOVE the bottles, they’re so cute!
