Clinique Quick Blush

I’m sure by now most of you should know that I’m pretty lazy about doing make-up, well to be honest I have the slightest clue on applying make-up but I do love it. I mostly use only mascara and lipgloss and that’s about it. But if I was to have my make-up done by professionals when I hit events I wouldn’t mind that (ha!). I’m not sure if you guys remember back in November at the Clinique New Lash Launch Event (will be writing about the new lash portfolio soon) I got my make-up done by a professional Tamara and loved it. One of the new products she used on me was the Quick Blush, a unique cream-to-powder formula which delivers natural color that is packaged in a sleek silver case. I don’t normally use blush because I just feel self-conscious that its too much but I really liked the outcome of this natural color, almost like a natural flush. The thin layer of color on cheeks last all day, resists sweat and humidity, is oil-free and water-resistant thanks to the film forming polymers in the product. And, like all Clinique makeup brushes, this brush is equipped with the unique Anti-Bacterial Technology. The color stayed on all night for me, even after two other events (here and here) I went to and both were super packed, I still looked pretty made up when I got home. Definitely love this new product and recommend it to all the ladies that use blush!

“The brush and blush are housed together – twist the cylinder base clockwise with the shade-matched cap in place and facing upward to simultaneously propel the brush up, picking up the perfect amount of powder that is conveniently hidden in the cap. Remove the cap to reveal a brush precisely loaded with blush and ready to go. Looking to layer on more product? Simply turn the cylinder a few more times and more will deposit on the brush for a completely customized end look.”

The new Quick Blush retail at $21.50 and is available in a range of beautiful, wearable shades starting this month at Clinique counters nationwide and www.clinique.com. The must-have shade this spring is Pronto Pink and other shades include:

  • Nudes: Hurry Honey
  • Tawnies: Peach In-A-Pinch
  • Pinks: Minute Mocha, Pronto Pink
  • Violets: In-A-Rush Blush, Berry On Time
