Rodarte for Target [Sneak Peek]

UPDATE 10.29.2009: AS PER TARGET’S REQUEST THE IMAGES HAS BEEN REMOVED, IF YOU’VE CAUGHT A SNEAK PEEK LUCKY YOU! STAY TUNED FOR THE IMAGES TO BE RELEASED OFFICIALLY!

Yesterday, we posted a picture of the Rodarte for Target Ribcage Sequin Mini Dress and was wondering if it was part of the collection. The answer is yes, thanks to reader Angela for tipping us that Seventeen has more preview pics from the long lead presentation on August 18th. As you can see the same ribcage sequin mini dress appears at the press preview, we can expect it in the line. The more images I see leaked on the web, the more I’m liking the collection. Love the leopard jacket and ribcage sequin mini dress so far! I can’t wait to see the full collection! Do you like?

The Rodarte for Target Go International collection consists of 55 pieces and will range from $9.99 for knee-highs to $79.99 for a leopard print jacket. According to a Target spokesman, the collection is “very feminine, yet very modern and incorporates a rich mix of patterns and fabrications and everything from sequins and bows to faux fur”. Mark your calendars, the limited edition collection will launch at Target stores nationwide and on target.com on December 20, 2009, and will be available through February 6, 2009.

  1. I like the leopard coat but the dress with the bones is eh, perfect for halloween! lol

  2. I’m really digging the yellow cardigan! I’ll have to see the leopard pieces in person to see if they look cheap or not! But so far so good I think!

  3. I agree with you, Jessica. I am looking forward to seeing the yellow cardigan too!

  4. that LBD is the only interesting piece really…

  5. Ooh! I like the mix of textures and prints. I’m super excited to see this sneak peek, and can’t wait to see the line in person. It’s this designer collaboration for Target that I’m most excited about to date! I’m sure Target will do a pop-up shop in NYC before the collection is released.

  6. love all the lace and tulle, and that cardigan is a must have!

  7. Not feeling this. Why won’t they do something like what we see on the runway? Ugh. I it that difficult to *slightly* copy your OWN designs?!

  8. wait – ignore my last comment – its too early and i’m thinking of the hm jimmy choo shit BAHAHHA

  9. Yellow Cardigan and Audrey style, bow neck dress YES, the rest, Halloween look!

  10. It’s sad cos the only thing I like of this collection is the leopard print, and that is, of course, insanely unreasonable overpriced. Who shops at target and can afford an eighty dollar coat?

  11. I saw a few of pieces in teen vogue! The leopard print dress is so pretty, defiently a party dress
