Rodarte x Superga Spring/Summer 2015 Collection

Superga North America teamed up with founders and designers of Rodarte, Kate and Laura Mulleavy, to launch an exclusive range of sneakers for Spring/Summer 2015. Superga’s iconic sneaker silhouettes are reinvented using a unorthodox blend of materials. The classic low-top and high top styles are designed in denim with netting overlay, with some styles featuring a contrasting tongue in snake-print embossed leather. Rodarte’s modern approach to the classic sneaker includes a contrast of colors from black, white, blue and brown.

“We were inspired by Superga’s iconic look, and by taking that recognizable message and putting it in new context – one that conceptually explored innovative and interesting textures and fabrications. We built a world inspired by netting, stamped leathers, and surfaces (tweeds and denims). This allowed for us to keep the meaning of the Superga classic line, and yet, bring our point of view to the design,” Kate and Laura Mulleavy.

The Rodarte x Superga Spring/Summer 2015 collection will be priced from $239-$259 and is available now at the Superga Store and

alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet Fall 2015 Collection

Stacey Bendet’s Fall 2015 collection for alice + olivia takes us back to the Biba enthused days of swinging London and the rock and roll era of the Rolling Stones by presenting long, flowing dresses accented with lace details, floral jacquards in mod shift shapes and wide-leg pants with graphic diamond designs. The alice + olivia girl is elaborately layered this season, pairing long tops and matching jackets with winter shorts in a palette of black, white, dark reds, blues and greens.

“This season is about personal expression. It is about bold femininity. It is about glamour. The clothes have a true rock and roll vibe while being simultaneously very romantic,” says Bendet.

The collection highlights rich, textured fabrics in extravagant long coats and pants in real jacquards, mod miniskirts paired with pea coats and thigh-high boots, Mongolian furs worn over printed dresses, lengthy brocade vest looks and 70s inspired black wide-led tuxedo looks paired with a silver embellished mock neck top.

PUMA x Vashtie Spring/Summer 2015 Collection

Last night I stopped by Webster Hall to support my friends, Vashtie Kola and PUMA, on their collaboration debut. The Spring/Summer 2015 collection consists of a range of unisex apparel pieces and classic footwear inspired by NYC nightlife and the urban music and lifestyle scene of the 80’s and 90’s era. It pays homage to that time in style history, while integrating key PUMA classic styles like the Suede and T7’s. So cute, loving the iridescent pieces and of course the black & gold looks too!

The collection launches this Saturday, February 28th at, Epitome, Bait and select PUMA Lab powered by Foot Locker locations.
