Remember when you saw a sneak peek of what’s coming for Fall 2014 for Ray-Ban sunglasses? Ray-Ban celebrates the launch of its innovative new materials collection, dedicated to exploring the unexpected materials used for the first time across some of the brand’s most legendary and recognizable styles. Ray-Ban’s latest material-inspired eyewear collection consists of: leather, denim, steel, titanium and velvet.

Each style comes in an array of colorways to match your everyday mood or outfit, there’s something for everyone. So cool and unique, definitely need them in my sunglass collection! The collection is on sunglasshut.com and ray-ban.com with new colorways coming in August.

Taylor Hill x Forever 21 Make A Statement Campaign & Scholarship Contest

Forever 21 launches its Pre-Fall 2014 back-to-school campaign feature model Taylor Hill along with a scholarship contest. The “Make a Statement” campaign with a focus on individuality and self-expression through dance. The scholarship contest gives shoppers an opportunity to upload their own dance video to YouTube or Instagram with the hashtag #F21StatementPiece and #F21xMe for an opportunity to win a $10,000 scholarship! The contest runs from July 18th through August 8th. More info here.

The pre-fall 2014 collection consists of printed button-ups and fitted skirts to must-have denim in a variety of new fits, and essential staples any wardrobe needs to create a one-of-a-kind personal style. The collection will be available in-stores and online beginning Friday, July 25th.

Herschel Supply launched its Fall 2014 lookbook featuring “a modern new collection inviting the everyday explorer to discover the unique metropolitan atmosphere cultivated within the city.” The new collection introduces a range of new material including premium veggie tan leather, 3M reflective fabric and reactive denim in a variety of new shapes: two backpacks, two totes, three duffles and one new packable and dopp kit style. New hand-drawn prints include Geo, Tiger Camo, Hunt, Sunday and Countryside, all designed with elements of diverse city culture in mind.

HLZBLZ Summer 2014 Lookbook

My gurl Lanie from HLZBLZ just dropped her second installment of her SS2014 “HVN & HLZ” collection dedicated to fly gurls that takes style cues from the underground subcultures of Los Angeles and New York. The lookbook was shot in LA by Taryn ‘TeekTheSneak’ Anderson and modeled by Cenit Nadir.

The key piece from the collection is the “YVEZ” statement dress in which New York graphic artist, Naturel created his rendition of one of the greatest brands in designer clothing. The piece is offered in a black minimal color way with a striking mesh attachment. Other pieces in the collection includes: hats, signature graphic tops, swimsuits and jerseys.

Vans OTW x STAMPD Tesella

Vans has tapped LA based streetwear brand STAMPD to collaborate on a deluxe edition of the Tesella for its OTW collection. The Vans OTW x STAMPD Tesella sneaker features a minimalist color scheme, focusing on premium materials and iconic styling cues. The upper is crafted in a black supple calf leather and an UltraCush™ Lite base outfitted in a speckled finish. Pretty sleek right?

The Tesella is a progressive tie back to Vans’ design heritage as the iconic checkerboard print is expressed as handwoven uppers and a lightweight, waffle tread outsole pays homage to the original waffle sole pattern. Additional detailing includes waxed laces, metal eyelets, micro suede lining, embossed STAMPD tongue branding and printed Vans OTW logo footbed.

The Vans OTW x STAMPD Tesella retails for $160 and launches through the STAMPD pop-up shop (located at 8860 Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood, CA) at 11am PST on August 2nd and online at 12am PST on August 4th.
