Bugaboo and Missoni Team Up!

Bugaboo and Italian fashion house Missoni has teamed up to design and produce an exclusive collection children will appreciate. Long known for their modern strollers, Bugaboo’s usually come in strong solid colors teamed with black plastics and dulled metallics. This Missoni collaboration breaks that mold with some classy flavor from the Italian brand’s vibrant colors and patterns. Angela Missoni, co-owner of Missoni, has this to say about the project, “It was a great joy to work on this project. Children are so sensitive to colors and patterns. Working with Bugaboo has given me a unique opportunity to create a dream stroller that I hope will be enjoyed by children and will stimulate their senses.”

The Bugaboo + Missoni special collection features two tailored designs. A bright block print adorns the Bugaboo Cameleon sun canopy and bassinet apron, while vibrant zigzags decorate the Bugaboo Bee sun canopy. Each collection is completed with a knitted Missoni blanket. The Bugaboo Cameleon + Missoni accessory set is prices at $269 while the Bugaboo Bee + Missoni accessory set is prices at $199 and both will be available exclusively at Neiman Marcus this coming July 2011.
