Slowly progressing with my NYFW posts, this was taken on day 2 (02.11.2011). Woke up extra early to attend a Gucci blogger brunch at The Standard Hotel. Had an interesting discussion that will hopefully lead to something more in the near future. Afterward headed to the Rebecca Minkoff’s first runway show at Lincoln Center, I’ll be posting my fave pieces in another post. Missed a few shows here and there, then checked out Alejandro Ingelmo’s new collection in Soho. Last event I managed to attend before my feet gave up on me was Rebecca Minkoff’s afterparty at The Griffin. Smirnoff sent a car to pickup and drop off so that was pretty sweet. During the event I took the People’s Challenge, which invites people to take blind taste tests of Smirnoff and premium vodkas in hopes of determining the best testing vodka on the market. Oh and K-Mart sent over a fashion week survival kit filled with necessities and goodies to kick off the week.
