Last week VANS flew me to Los Angeles to celebrate their latest collaboration with New York’s Claw Money. I was quite excited because it was my first time in Long Beach and it was also fun to party with the VANS crew and Claw. The event was at the VANS Belmont Shore store, saw some familiar faces and it was a very chill event, no overcapacity issues and everyone was just there having a good time plus the weather was beautiful. Claw’s artwork was on display, along with her VANS collection and there was also short video featuring Claw wearing the collection on loop. The collection is really cute, can’t wait to get my hands on it! Many thanks to VANS!
The limited edition collection consists of two limited edition styles of footwear and a small collection of coordinating pieces. Claw Money’s signature “Claw” icon is featured over an aqua fading into coral-hued leopard print on both the hi-top “Hadley” ($70) and casual low “Aleeda” ($55). The collection was inspired by Claw’s East Coast style mixed with some California sun-bleached surfers and long thriving punk scene. Rounding out the collection are an all-over print tank top ($26) and fun athletic socks ($8), perfect for girls everywhere.
