Reem Acra Spring 2015 Collection

Reem Acra Spring 2015 Collection

Modernizing the glamour and artistry of the mid-20th century Paris, Reem Acra’s Spring 2015 Collection transforms the classic hand draped jersey into cut out detailing using body conscious silhouettes. Sculptural elements take on a life of its own as fabrics evolve into silk organza and chiffons and panels of Reem’s signature embroidery are molded and placed asymmetrically across the body. Florals also take on a new life, playing an important role in this season’s wardrobe.

Soft, delicate and subtle use of color in the collection gradually shine through pale silver and gold embroideries with contrasting underlays. Blush, aqua, blue-grey and aubergine give the collection its vintage feel, but uses of bright pink and black give a more contemporary vibe. Embroidery, a signature element in every Reem Acra collection puts on the finishing touch. Hand sewn and stitched crystals, beading and lace are used to enhance this delicacy and bring a new freshness to the collection.

Reem Acra’s Spring 2015 Collection shines light on elements of the classic couture while adding bits and pieces of herself to bring those styles into the 21st century. So pretty!
