Although I don’t wear a whole lot of makeup, I do love checking out new releases and showing them to my friends and you guys. A couple of weeks ago I previewed the new spring releases from Elizabeth Arden, it’s my first time checking out the brand’s makeup. At the preview, celebrity makeup artist Brett Freedman demonstrated a day and night look with the new collection which included: Ceramide Ultra Lipstick and the Bronze in Bloom line (Pure Finish Mineral Bronzing Powder, High Shine Lip Gloss, Pure Finish Mineral Cheekcolor, Color Intrigue Eyeshadow Quad and Smoky Eyes Powder Pencil). I personally quite liked the Smoky Eyes Powder Pencil in Blue Sky and Black Violet, it’s subtle but when you come close you can see a hint of color. The Perfumer’s Inspiration: “Ikebana is a far eastern traditional form of flower arrangement. The most elevated form of ikebana is known as chabana. The prefix Cha relates to its intimate relationship to the ceremony of tea. Very frequently the centerpiece for this flower arrangement is a very specific kind of fragrant camellia known as sasanqua. Its delicate fragrance combines peony, rose and mandarin tree blossom notes with a delicate tea nuance.
