On Monday night, I judged the 8th Annual Dressed to Kilt Charity Fashion Show hosted by Sir Sean & Lady Connery, the 2010 theme was MAD FOR SCOTLAND. It was my first time being a judge, other judges included Eric Daman, Nigel Barker and Robert Verdi, it was pretty fun. Wore plaid tights to go with the theme, wanted to be a bit subtle lol. Makeup by Colby Smith at MAC Cosmetics – loved it.
This year’s show featured runway performances from Mike Myers, Al Roker, Kellie Pickler, Donald Trump, Jr., Alan Cumming, Kyle McLachlan, Joan Jett and Olympians Eve Muirhead and Shani Davis. Donald, Melania and Venessa Trump showed their support for Donald Trump, Jr. during his runway debut from Sean Connery’s private VIP area.
Proceeds from the evening’s event benefit the Wounded Warrior Project, Paralyzed Veterans of America and the Erskine Hospital of Scotland. This year’s show included a special tribute to these groups with Dan Nevins, Dawn Halfaker and Ryan Kules (Wounded Warrior Project) and Mark Connolly (Erskine Hospital) representing their organizations on the runway.
