Dr. Martens x Comptoir des Cotonniers

Dr. Martens is still going strong, for fall there’s a special limited edition model to launch in collaboration with French ready-to-wear women’s brand Comptoir des Cotonniers. After several collaborations with designers such as Jean-Paul Gaultier, Corinne Cobson, and co-brandings with Yohji Yamamoto and Raf Simons, Dr. Martens has chosen to collaborate with Comptoir, this also marks the first-ever collaboration for Comptoir. Dr. Martens created an exclusive “mousy grey” color leather on its iconic model, the 1460 8-eye boot, to reflect the fall/winter ’09 collection’s color palette which has elements of 90s grunge and military inspired silhouettes. The exclusive model retail for $190 and is slated to release in Comptoir des Cotonniers stores worldwide early August 2009. I LIKE!

  1. Mousy grey ^_^ I was thinking about getting them in metallic silver, but I think this mousy grey would be more practical for every day wear… ahh I can't make up my mind!!

  2. do you know if those docs are available anywhere outside of france, or maybe even online? i would so love to get my hands on a pair… they really would be the perfect colour for me i think!
