Shibuya Mon Amour by Satine @ Forever 21

Monday, January 19, 2009 by Wendy Lam

Last week I got an email from reader Melina asking me if I knew anything about Forever 21’s new line, “Shibuya Mon Amour” but I had no clue what she was talking about since I haven’t heard anything yet. As I “entered” into‘s front page today, there’s an “important customer advisory” saying that a boutique line designed exclusively for Forever 21 called “Shibuya Mon Amour” will be coming soon! Nothing more was provided, so I did some research and came upon the LA Times about the line. Shibuya Mon Amour is created by Satine owner Jeannie Lee, the line consists of inexpensive T-shirts and tank tops featuring “nature inspired graphics such as eagles, owls or deer on the front” and range from $12 to $14.50. The line is slated to hit this Friday, January 23rd.

  1. I can’t wait for this line to come out! I love Forever 21 and their affordable items. Thank you Wendy for the update!

  2. I just love everything from Forver21. That’s so young, classy, stylish and affordable. I can pass a day in front of my screen by choosing what i would like to buy at this store.
Im very excited to see what is this new collection.

  3. Hey there! I just wanted to let you know, the little blurb about the ‘important customer advisory’ is something different. Click on the words and it brings you to this page about something that happened at one of the stores in California to do with personal information – not this new line. Just thought I’d let you know!

  4. Honestly the line lacks anything special that would give it the neccessity to be called its own line. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Forever 21, but this line is uninspiring and the t-shirts ho-hum.

  5. very disapointed by the lack of creativity on this one i always look to forever 21 to keep me updated and unique but this line does nothing for me and i am very pro forever 21!

  6. I don’t lke this line really…their cute, but it’s a little boring compared to their other stuff.

oh and the “important customer advisory” wasn’t about the new line. you should do more research-it’s a link to a brief infomational paragraph about identity theft.

  7. This line is really nothing new. The name sounds exciting yes but I’ve seen this style in other stores where they make it work a lot better (i.e Zara or H&M) I love shopping at Forever21 but I wouldn’t buy this style there…
