Christian Siriano Spring 2011 Fashion Show Finale + Interview

Yesterday was the first day of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and it was quite exciting to be at Lincoln Center, the new venue is pretty amazing. One of the shows I attended was Christian Siriano, I was excited to see his collection especially his new Payless collection. I’m sure a lot of you guys are fans of his Payless collection, I am too. For his runway shoes, he “meld cultural influences from Africa, India and China together into a single design aesthetic.” Once again the shoes did not disappoint and I asked the Payless PR if they were going to be produced they said “very similar pairs” will be in production. Cross fingers that they’re pretty much the same! After the show I had a chance to interview Christian backstage about his Payless collection and new venue, thanks to Payless for setting up the interview and providing a handy Flip Ultra HD Camcorder to use.
