Givenchy Spring/Summer 2016 Collection

Tuesday, September 22, 2015 by Katie Kuang

Under the direction of Artistic Director Riccardo Tisci, the House of Givenchy debuted its Spring/Summer 2016 collection on the banks of the Hudson River during New York Fashion Week. The show was broadcasted live on and throughout the city, from SoHo to Times Square, so everyone could enjoy the lavish spectacle.

The collection reinterpreted looks from Riccardo’s most iconic pieces of the past decade and expressed universal themes such as love, peace, freedom, humility and spirituality. Models came down the runway wearing darkly romantic Victorian-inspired gowns and were decorated with elaborate facial jewelry and embellished face masks.

And of course it was a star studded show, celebrities like Kanye West, Kim Kardashian West, Cindy Crawford, and more were dressed in Givenchy to support the House of Givenchy. Check out the recap below.
