A couple months ago I was introduced to a new luxury shoe label, Mara & Mine, designed by two Australians from opposite ends of the fashion industry – Tamara Ingham (stylist) and Jasmine Yarbrough (model). For their debut collection they found inspiration a recent trip to Cabo San Lucas, falling in love with many items related to the the vibrant culture of Mexico. From the local textiles & fabrics used in traditional Mexican blankets to the re-occurring skeleton themes seeped in 3,000+ years of history celebrating the deaths of their ancestors, Mexico was ripe with inspiration.

The shoes was seen on many celebrities and models including Cara Delevingne, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Chanel Iman, and many more. My fave pairs are the Sophie Spine, Montana Skull Hand and Jem Skull Slipper! So good!!! The collection retails from $250 – $480, shop the collection at maraandmine.com.
