Jeremy Scott Spring 2012

I always look forward to Jeremy Scott’s fashion show each season, he always put on a great show and it’s so fun and upbeat. Before the show I hung out at the American Express VIP Lounge to freshen up and had some lunch. Afterward I went backstage to check out the models getting their hair and makeup done. The nails were done by Patricia Yankee for Dashing Diva, she kept the nails fairly simply in clear with glitter to match the sandals that had a strap in the same color. The super cutie makeup was by MAC Cosmetics, MAC Artist Val Garland did the makeup up for cutie Charlotte Free and said the makeup was inspired by “Daisy Duke goes to Paradise.” It’s all about freckles, overblown mascara, fake lashes and blush. I loved it!

Jeremy Scott’s invite was a picture postcard with “Greetings From Paradise!” in the front and on the back was “Wish you were here.” So I thought the collection would be all about paradise, sunshine and vacation. But it turned out to be more of a farmer chic kinda collection, he was inspired by farm life and sexy hillbilly girls. The collection was all kinds of cuteness, there were cow prints, metal mesh potato sack dress (Jeremy’s personal favorite), metal mesh bandana tops, cacti prints, oh and there were even ass-less pants! Everyone was gasping when the boys and gurls came strolling down the runway exposing their buttocks, it was an OMG moment ha! Oh and don’t forget about those crazy Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals Spring 2012 cowboy boot x sneaker, quick a hybrid. All of Jeremy Scott’s shows front row seaters got a fabulous JS x Longchamp bag and a JS x Swatch watch, it’s seriously the best fashion week gift.

The show was all kinds of fun, LOVED IT! And I was so happy I got to meet Jeremy Scott at the end of the show too, he’s super nice!
