This new men’s fragrance could not have come at a better time, I was thinking of what to get my dad for Father’s Day and this can definitely be part of it! Remember last year’s launch of the Gucci Guilty fragrance for her? Well, this year Gucci launched the fragrance for him. This past Wednesday, I was invited to the press preview for the fragrance and since I liked the fragrance for her I was quite interested in learning about the new one. The two fragrances are a couple so almost everything is replicated. The sexy ad campaign and film by Frank Miller features Chris Evans and Evan Rachel Wood once again. Gucci creative director Frida Giannini was inspired by Barbara Streisand’s ‘Guilty’ song for this fragrance as well.
In Gucci Guilty for Him, the latest fragrance conceived by Creative Director Frida Giannini, this man instinctively recognizes a strong representation of himself in the scent. Young, fearless, with impeccable taste, the wearer of Gucci Guilty for Him is a hero for our age – exuding charisma and more than a little dangerous. Frida Giannini observes, “Everyone is in love with the Gucci Guilty man. He is a risk-taker, a thrill-seeker, yet he always remains sensitive to a woman’s desires. He embodies these desires. Men yearn to be him, women to be his.”
I also really like the simplicity of the box and bottle just like the Gucci Guilty for Her, the packaging of Gucci Guilty for Him is iconic. The flacon is shaped like a flask with its signature interlocking Gs and filled with light purple juice, both masculine and sexy.
The collection includes: Eau de Toilette 50ml ($57) and 90ml ($73), Shower Gel 150ml ($33), After-shave lotion 75ml ($40), Deodorant Spray 110ml ($27) and Massage Oil 100ml ($37).
Check out the Frank Miller film after the jump…
I was gifted this package when I left, pretty amazing. Love how the fragrance was packaged and I love the USB thumb drive! Please note this is a press package, not for sale.
