Savage Beauty

Savage Beauty

Last week, B and I went up up to the Met to see the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibition, it was really really packed but definitely worth everything. If you haven’t went, definitely make a trip there to see it, and I’d suggest to get there either very early or very late to avoid the crowds and it would be best not to go on a weekend like me lol. The exhibition was amazing, it’s a comprehensive show celebrating the designer’s work over nearly two decades, beginning with his graduate collection at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London and ending with his final collection, which was unveiled weeks after the designer took his own life in February with about 100 pieces. Too bad photos weren’t allowed, I would of spent hours in there. And before I left the exhibition, I bought a book and a few miniature McQueen Armadillo shoes, definitely a must-have!
