NYFW Fall 2011: Vivienne Tam

Vivienne Tam is one of the NYFW shows that I don’t miss, she’s one of the nicest designers I’ve met and I always have love for the East meets West aesthetics she brings to her collections. On day 3, my first stop was to VT’s show at Lincoln Center. For Fall 2011, Vivienne was part of The Swarovski Collective: the group of designers that Swarovski has collaborated with for fashion week. She was inspired by our 600-year old Kun Opera, throughout the collection you will see tweed, wool, silks and lace. My favorite pieces were the tweed and wool coats, here outerwear are usually what I like best. Check out my faves after the jump…
