This is a bit overdue but every weekend I’ve been thinking about going to Montauk ever since Creative Recreation invited me there for a fun weekend last month and now that’s all I want to do! Creative Rec arranged for all their favorite editors/bloggers to stay at Solé East, I loved it there! Too bad it was raining the first night so they had to cancel plans at Navy Beach but we had drinks and appetizers at the Backyard Restaurant at the hotel instead, it was still good. Luckily the rest of the days were super sunny!
Although my legs were badly bitten by the mosquitoes (OFF didn’t seem to work), which by the way is still on my legs (no joke, super poisonous), it was definitely worth it! The funny thing is my uncle and cousins have been working in Montauk for the summer for a few years already, they kept telling me to visit but until last month I finally met up with them there haha! They work at Gosman’s, seriously the biggest restaurant there, it’s like their own lil community there! Food and service is good, I’m looking forward to going back at least once before the end of summer! Sadly, I didn’t get a chance to hit up Surf Lodge but next time for sure! Loved just chillaxin’ and laying on the beach, Ditch Plains was recommended by one of my Twitter followers, thank you. Previously, I’ve posted some pictures here but here are more…
What’s your favorite spots in Montauk? Let me know…
