Lady Gaga Performs in Japan for MAC VIVA GLAM Launch

On Tuesday, MAC and the MAC Aids Fund hosted the much anticipated Pan-Asia VIVA GLAM launch in Japan with a press junket at Tokyo’s Grand Hyatt Hotel followed by a performance by Viva Glam spokesperson Lady Gaga featuring a one-of-a-kind MAC Viva Glam inspired piano, specially designed and crafted by Canadian artist, Terence Koh.

Inspired by a Japanese wedding, Lady Gaga was led onto a rotating stage, taking her seat at the piano and performed Speechless, Allejandro and Bad Romance. Wish MAC had a launch event like that in NYC! From Tokyo the VIVA GLAM Terence Koh piano signed by Lady Gaga will travel to New York City where it will be auctioned at the Donatella Versace/Anna Wintour Art of Elysium event on April 30th. The funds will be donated to The Harlem Hospital’s Family Care Centre in New York, a program that provides comprehensive medical, psychological and social services to HIV infected children and their families.
