DwellStudio for Target’s baby bedding and furniture line boasts their pioneering modern aesthetic as well, and offers parents the opportunity to decorate a nursery with a sophisticated and fun look. Drawing inspiration from a range of influences, such as vintage toys, architecture and travel, Lemieux infused her selection of nightlights, boudoir pillows, wall decals, window panels, blankets, fabric storage boxes, changing table pad covers and soft toys with a clean, streamlined design motif.

Nursery bedding is available in boy, girl and gender-neutral color palettes, and takes a cue from iconic symbols of childhood such as the alphabet, numbers and zoo animals, as well as geometric shapes, stripes and dots. Parents are encouraged to mix and match patterns to create a signature look for the nursery.

Lemieux and her team have also translated their modern mix aesthetic to a line of nursery furniture. The line includes two crib styles with coordinating convertible dresser/changing tables, as well as a glider and ottoman. The Soho collection crib is open on all four sides with squareshaped bars for a contemporary look. Both the crib and convertible dresser/changing table feature drawer pulls that are not just functional, but the defining design element. The Silverlake collection is a study in refined elegance with its substantial closed sides, tapered legs and architectural reveal. All of the furniture is solid hardwood and available in two different finish options, easily complimenting existing furniture to create a cohesive-and unique-look.

A former fashion designer, Lemieux brings a chic sensibility to layette. The line’s kimono-style bodysuits and tops coordinate with matching pants, booties and caps. And, a clever tunic dress comes as a set with striped leggings. The collection for boys, called Cars, features ’60s-era cars and a palette of blues and browns, and the stylish girls’ line, Apple Tree, is available in a rainbow of pinks and browns.

Guests looking for sophisticated baby gifts need look no farther than DwellStudio for Target. The wide variety of layette pieces are sold in packaging specifically designed with gift giving in mind. Each item, from the apparel pieces to wearable blankets, hooded towels, blankets, burp cloths, bibs, wash cloth sets, hats and booties fit in the DwellStudio for Target gift bag and can be taken directly to any baby shower.
