On Monday night, Kenneth Cole invited a group of bloggers to his office/showroom for his first ever blogger dinner and spring 2011 collection preview. Before the dinner, a special delivery of a Sony Bloggie Touch arrived at my office with a note that said “Play Me – KC.” It was a video invitation from Kenneth Cole inviting us to join his social network, pretty interesting. The dinner was inspired by the collection with the first course: Rainforest, main course: Desert Plateau and dessert course: Mountain Range. Each blogger got to choose a parting gift for KC’s spring 2011 collection, either a pair of shoes or a bag, I went with the No Slouch Hobo in sand (pictured below).
Kenneth Cole’s spring 2011 collection stays true to his aesthetic, inspired by the urban safari, the collection featured lots of army green, embossed exotic skins, animal prints and white leather. Check out the preview and recap of the dinner after the jump…
