Yesterday, Banana Republic launched it’s new denim collection, The New Blues, at their Soho flagship store. The denim collection for men and women are all at an affordable price, starting at $79.50. The best thing is that BR changed their sizing to make our lives easier, no more number sizing (0, 2, 4) but on to the waist sizing (24, 25, 26).
Denim styles for women range from skinny, ultimate skinny, slouchy skinny, boyfriend, curvy boot cut, boot cut, straight leg and trouser leg. For men there’s straight leg, vintage straight leg, boot cut and relaxed fit. I was able to choose a pair as a gift, I tried on the skinny in my normal jeans size and they fit well, very true to size. Too bad the deconstructed skinny jeans that I wanted was sold out in my size, now I’ll have to wait for my pair to be delivered.
