Mark your calendars for February 9th, Christopher Kane Capsule Collection for Topshop will be launching just before London Fashion Week. Too bad for the USA shoppers, there’s NO Topshop stores here, I hope they will be available on their website (highly doubt it), worse comes to worse there’s eBay for double the price (blah). The collection are priced from around £110, approx. US$215, not cheap at all, but compared to his £1000, approx. US$1970 dresses they are far more affordable.

May be you’ve heard that during his MA studies he was partially sponsored by Donatella Versace, Christopher Kane officially debuted at the London Fashion Week last season and became an instant sensation. His 50 fluorescent, frilled, crystal-trimmed, ring-jingling, zip-spliced dresses in extraordinary color combinations—red with pink, lime with beige, royal blue with black, flesh-on-flesh, violet with green are amazing…though I prolly won’t be able to fit in any haha. To make matters more interesting, Kane reveals that the Godfather of Sole, Manolo Blahnik, has been enlisted to create the shoes for his forthcoming autumn/winter 2007-8 collection. I’m liking what I see already, hopefully I can snag a piece or two in this Topshop collection…anyone in UK wanna hook me up?
