It’s a good sign that many of Maroons’ patrons actually hail from the South or Caribbean: They know the real thing when they taste it. Vintage photographs adorn the exposed brick walls of this eatery’s perpetually packed two tiny rooms, and patrons can watch the cooks concoct their dishes in the visible, minuscule kitchen. – Citysearch
I’ve been to Maroons a few times before I started my blog, its one of my favorite restaurants. The cornbread and fried chicken (I always have this everytime I go) there are amazing! A must have if you’re feeling some Southern food, the ribs are quite good too! The oxtail is not as good as Negril, but not bad. I don’t recommend the Catfish, I didn’t like it that much from there. Be sure to stop by Maroons if you’re in town! Peep the meal after the jump…
