Prada launches its latest eyewear collection for Spring/Summer 2015 featuring a variety of frames inspired by the 70s. The new collection for women and men, reveal an eclectic interplay of styles, where contemporary design meets experimentation with new materials.
The women’s line showcases an array of large, structured silhouettes with the use of wood and leather to signify a return to nature. The new Prada Raw glasses, made from black walnut and Malabar ebony, and the iconic Minimal-Baroque model, enhanced with the use of wood, reflect the natural the utmost expression of masterly craftsmanship.
For men, innovation merges with design experimentation to produce frames with thick volumes and irregular-cut edges of the front. The Spring/Summer 2015 collection also includes a new chapter in the Prada Journal optical frames collection featuring retro-inspired frames, enriched by the three-dimensional temples’ sophisticated design.
