On the 1st of this month, Jordan Brand opened its door to the brand’s official store in New York City. t is an one-of-a-kind retail space that marks Jordan Brand’s first-ever foray into a dedicated retail spot here in North America. Flight 23 at Footaction is located in the heart of Herald Square at West 34th Street.
The store is decked out in elephant print walls that nod to the Air Jordan III and flooring emblazoned with the retro “Wings” logo — alongside modern interactive video displays. The store’s centerpiece is a spectacular, custom “23” chandelier made of 340 individual gold Jumpman logos. Flight 23 will feature the widest assortment of Jordan footwear and apparel, including regular retro drops and the latest performance product.
Sadly I wasn’t able to make the opening ceremony this past Saturday but I’m looking forward to checking out the store soon. As a fan of Jordan, this place is like a kid in a candy store! Flight 23 at Footaction is located at 225 West 34th Street, NYC.
