adidas’ newest running shoe – the AM4NYC – uses data driven technology to provide its New York wearers with the best footwear possible for going on a run in the Big Apple. In honor of the release, adidas is opening up a SPEEDFACTORY Lab Experience in Brooklyn in which guests will be able to receive custom, private footscan data to learn more about their perfect fit. Pairs will be available in sizes for both men and women utilizing a unique programming process that digitally maps the areas of the most wear to provide a precise fit for added stability.
“The AM4NYC shoe demonstrates the potential of adidas SPEEDFACTORY to set a new benchmark for performance products by using an advanced digital and data-driven processes, and bringing in local runners to be a part of this future of footwear creation,” Ben Herath, VP Design for adidas Running, said.
The AM4NYC released today at adidas’ flagship location store on Broadway as well as adidas.com and other select retailers with a retail price of $200 USD.
