Happy Friday! Did you know that today is the official Top Gun Day (which is officially 30 years old)? The iconic CWU 45/P Flight Jacket from Alpha Industries, as worn by Tom Cruise in Top Gun, has gained commercial popularity after the movie was released in 1986, so they started making nylon versions of the CWU-45/P for the fashion market beginning in the late 1980s.
