KANYE WEST YEEZY SEASON 3

On Thursday, February 11th, my first show of NYFW was to Kanye West’s YEEZY SEASON 3 at Madison Square Garden. Of course his family was in attendance: Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall, Kylie, Kris, Caitlyn and North were all decked out in Balmain x YEEZY. The presentation was one of the hottest ticket of NYFW and brought out some of the biggest names of the industry including Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Lil Kim, 2 Chainz, Big Sean, Pusha T and more.

Kanye collaborated with renowned contemporary artist Vanessa Beecroft once again to put on the presentation featuring supermodel Naomi Campbell along with the global debut of his highly anticipated new album, The Life of Pablo. The collection also featured one of the main attractions, an updated version of the YEEZY BOOST 350 and a brand-new 1050 boot.

The presentation was pretty progressive featuring a cast of almost 1000 extras surrounding the stage. All models exclusively wore apparel from Ye’s own line YEEZY SEASON 3, and he also included select pieces of his own YEEZY SEASON 3 footwear and accessories.

It was an interesting experience and Ye’s album was dope. Loved the fuse of music and fashion, definitely nothing like what I’ve been to before.
