Stuart Weitzman announces Gigi Hadid, Joan Smalls and Lily Aldrige as the new faces of the brand’s Spring 2016 advertising campaign. The stunning black-and-white images of the supermodel trio was shot by renowned fashion photographer Mario Testino, and embraces a distinctively minimalist aesthetic while highlighting the intimate relationship a woman has with her shoes.
In the world of Stuart Weitzman, where being “sexy” also means being comfortable and confident in your own skin, new season essentials are stripped down to the bare minimum. In this season’s campaign, each model is photographed wearing nothing but the new Nearly Nude blocked-heel silhouette, a modified version of Weitzman’s iconic Nudist sandal.
The international advertising campaign will launch in the United States, Italy, France, England, Dubai, Germany, Spain and Asia. Outdoor advertising (billboards and kiosks) will run in Los Angeles, New York, Milan, Paris and Hong Kong. A behind-the-scenes video and additional creative content will be featured on stuartweitzman.com and in Stuart Weitzman boutiques worldwide.
