H&M x Global Citizen 2015

Last year, I’ve teamed up with H&M to raise awareness for their ongoing partnership with Global Citizen, I’m back at it again. This year for the first time for the festival, H&M created limited edition concert T-shirts available in stores nationwide designed by Coldplay and Ed Sheeran, with 25% of the sales donated to Global Citizen with the goal to end extreme poverty by 2030!

The Global Citizen Festival will be taking place this Saturday, September 26th beginning at 3PM at The Great Lawn in Central Park. This year, the Festival will channel millions around the globe with performances including Pearl Jam, Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran, and Coldplay to help shape the United Nation’s new Global Goals to end inequality, ensure environmental stability, and end extreme poverty by 2030.

Coinciding with the United Nations General Assembly, the Global Citizen Festival will call for tangible commitments from world leaders in the areas of vaccines, education and sanitation, and will focus on ensuring that all the world’s children and young people can survive and thrive. NBC News will produce a one-hour primetime special of the event to air on NBC at 9 p.m. EST, and MSNBC will broadcast and stream the full concert on cable and msnbc.com, so all your followers can take part in the day’s festivities! With lead hosts like Stephen Colbert, Salma Hayek Pinault, Hugh Jackman, and Olivia Munn, this star studded event will be one to remember.
