Converse launches its Fall 2015 All Star collection featuring fall-ready footwear and apparel styles for both men and women. The collection plays with a bold mix of colors and materials including premium leathers, rubber and jacquard. The new fall collections include the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Leather Shroud, Converse Chuck Taylor All Star MA-1 Zip, and Converse Chuck Taylor All Star ‘70. The brand also returns this fall with special collaborations from partners like Andy Warhol and Missoni.
New styles appear in the All Star Leather Shroud collection for women. The iconic Chuck Taylor All Star is encased within premium leather that covers the entire upper for a sleek monochromatic look and feel. The MA-1 Zip highlights key elements of the iconic bomber jacket and merges them into a sneaker. The All Star ’70 brings the colorful styles of punk rock back to life by mirroring iconic album covers and posters from the mid-seventies.
The Missoni collection features bold Missoni archival prints and playful color blocking with different patterns on contrasting panels. Returning for a second season, the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Andy Warhol footwear and apparel collection features styles drawn from a number of Warhol’s most iconic works, including the “Banana.”
The Fall 2015 Converse All Star collection is available now at Converse stores and converse.com. The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Andy Warhol collection will be available in Mid-August and the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Missoni collection will be available in September.
Chuck Taylor All Star Leather Shroud
Converse pushes the boundaries of design this season by introducing the Chuck Taylor Leather Shroud collection. While the inner sneaker remains a true Chuck Taylor All Star silhouette, it is incased within soft and supple leather that covers the entire upper and foxing for a sleek monochromatic look and feel. The collection includes an assortment of silhouettes
including the Chuck Taylor All Star Lux and the Chuck Taylor All Star, each with zip hardware detailing.
Chuck Taylor All Star MA-1 Zip
New for fall, the Converse Chuck Taylor MA-1 Zip highlights key elements of the iconic bomber jacket and injects them into a sneaker. A higher foxing for a masculine feel is paired with a durable bomber jacket nylon and elastic fit around the ankle for a military look. A tongue-zip exposes a broader tongue with a pop of color that is carried into the sock liner, and the zig zag deco stitch on the eyerow mimics the storm guard of an authentic bomber jacket.
