With Mother’s Day just around the corner, Stella McCartney celebrates with the launch of her new fragrance, STELLA Eau De Toilette. Photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the campaign features images of the fragrance’s striking flacon casting polka dot shadows at graphic angles. Stella McCartney’s new offering shares the same feminine spirit as the Eau De Parfum, while updating the central rose notes with an elegant Bulgarian rose essence to develop the idea of a fresh, dewy rose captured in the light.

“The story of STELLA fragrances unfolds around a strong feminine motif of the rose – looking at this flower in a new way to celebrate the modern woman. STELLA Eau de Toilette is about a natural confidence that is also youthful and radiant,” says Stella McCartney.

THE SCENT
STELLA Eau De Toilette takes the contrasting feminine and masculine notes presented in the original STELLA Eau de Parfum, and develops them in a fresh way. This unique scent opens with top notes of fresh mandarin and frozen lemon, balanced with watery tones of freesia to create a soft, dewy feeling. Infusing the feminine floral heart of Bulgarian rose essence with crunchy violet leaves and delicate peony petals, brings a freshness to the fragrance. While amber gris base notes, reveal a sensual undertone.

THE BOTTLE
A softly sophisticated take on the signature STELLA packaging, STELLA Eau De Toilette’s outer carton is presented in a sensual nude tone and embossed with the brand’s iconic gold polka dots. The faceted bottle, inspired by the beautiful edges of an amethyst crystal, is finished with a lustrous gold collar and matching nude cap. Feminine and playful, the design of the bottle and packaging echoes the brand’s ideology.
