For Summer 2015, Nike relaunches the Air Rift, its first shoe to promote natural motion in a sleek sneaker/sandal design. Inspired by the efficient barefoot style of Kenyan distance runners and their international competition dominance, the Nike Air Rift features a defining split-toe construction to enhance traction, textile-engineered mesh upper that wicks moisture for optimal ventilation, and two velcro closures on the heel and midfoot for a secure and customizable fit.
Nike’s latest offering will include styles for both men and women in new and original colorways. For women, colors include the original blue/yellow and red offerings, as well as a crisp new white and silver edition. For men, the Rift reappears in its original black, green, and red look inspired by the Kenyan national colors, and a new black and mint version.
The Nike Air Rift will be available in select Nike Sportswear retailers world wide and online at nike.com starting April 27th.
