Earlier this month you’ve seen a sneak peek of the making of H&M’s Chinese New Year 2015 ad campaign featuring celebrity couple, Zhou Xun and Archie Kao. The campaign has launched with a look at the full lineup of products to create festive looks for CNY. Key influences for the CNY 2015 collection is “a mix of feminine elegance and urban city looks” and of course the traditional all red everything!
“Chinese New Year is all about gathering with your family and loved ones. Everyone dresses up in new clothes and I can’t wait to wear this collection and celebrate the Spring Festival with my family. I wish everyone a Happy Chinese New Year in the year of the goat!” says Archie Kao.
Renowned Swedish illustrator, Beata Boucht, will be adding a floral touch to all H&M stores with her blossom illustrations inspired by the Lunar New Year. The red and pink floral illustrations will be featured on shopping bags, canvas totes and most importantly, red envelopes. Starting from February 10th to 23rd, customers will receive these exclusive H&M red packets with any purchase. On top of that, H&M will be giving away a limited edition canvas tote with a minimum purchase of the H&M gift card of HKD300 (while stock lasts).
The collection will be exclusively available in H&M China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia on January 29th.
