MCM comes together in a special collaboration with street artist Stefan Strumbel to present a limited edition collection showcasing Stefan’s bold aesthetic in MCM’s luxury leather goods. The collection reinvents one of Strumbel’s most iconic motifs, the cuckoo clock to match MCM’s German heritage. Other design elements include the heimat bubble, a term that embodies one’s homeland and heritage, light reflective materials, 3-D embroidery and embossing to give the collection a blend of art, technology and fashion.
The collection retails from $915- $2550 for large leather goods and $165-$860 for small leather goods like tambourine bags, charms and pouches in black, cognac and metallic color ways. A special offering includes the iconic Stark backpack in medium, small and mini sizes featuring the signature cognac Visetos print and Stefan Strumbel’s cuckoo clock.
The complete collection will be available at MCM’s upcoming Soho flagship store set to open later this year.
