Stacey Bendet’s Spring/Summer 2015 collection for alice + olivia takes the world of fashion and re-imagines it to be an object of admiration. Drawing inspiration from eighteenth century of Versailles, Stacey creates a collection mixing modern romance with girly rock and roll.
“The collection is filled with print and texture and I truly wanted each piece of clothing to almost feel like its own piece of art. From Picasso inspired beaded shifts to bohemian draped Lola Schnabel printed dresses the collection is an art installation all on its own,” said Stacey Bendet, CEO and Creative Director of alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet.
A whimsical color palette combines whites, blacks, cool lavender, coral and aqua tones with vibrant shades of sunset orange, canary yellow and umbrella blue. Dresses play a key role this spring as pleated silk chiffon handkerchief hemmed gowns stand out as much as sexy pencil dresses in bright solids and bold black and white graphic prints. Shirt dressing with 70s inspired halter necklines, button downs, Bermuda shorts and elegant, luxury pieces such as beaded sweatshirts, t-shirts and leather pieces adorn the collection.
Bringing playful and luxury pieces together, alice + olivia by Stacy Bendet, will make an excellent addition to the upcoming seasons.
