British footwear designer, Nicholas Kirkwood, debuts his Spring/Summer 2015 collection entitled Lucid Plains at Paris Fashion Week. Inspired by the work of Tadanori Yokoo, a palette of bold and explosive colors are used to illustrate an animated vibrancy. The pieces in this collection feature representations of science fiction through the use of intricate leather laser cutting, layering pieces, abstract floral artwork, and space-age imagery. Nicholas seamlessly merges unconventional elements together to “form an ultramodern and directional new season.”
