Combining sub-cultures of music, skate, and surf, Coach draws inspiration from the authentic workwear of the mid-west, and the spirit of New York to create their Spring 2015 Collection. Searching for the balance between utility and luxury, Coach’s newest collection focuses on celebrating a beautiful ‘oddness’ that’s born of American style and the attitude of New York City. A VISION OF AMERICA THAT’S QUINTESSENTIALLY COACH.
The collection showcases the American dreamer featuring many looks that take on a boyish femininity with graphic, colorful and vibrant designs. It is all about the optimistic outsider that doesn’t dress to impress, but still puts together a look that is spontaneous and effortless. The sense of nostalgia and tradition are being re-mixed as the familiar dies and a more authentic look rises. The sense of everydayness, twisted.
Standout pieces includes original drawings by Californian artist and animator Gary Baseman, introducing a series of darkly playful ‘creatures’, each developed with a story of the Coach girl in mind. Obsessed, so good…
