Balenciaga’s Spring/Summer 2014 eyewear collection embodies the brand’s signature style and represents and elegant, extreme and radical style inspired by architecture. There are 7 styles for the sunglasses collection, my favorite is model BA0009 (pictured) featuring the ‘crackle’ finish of black or white leather evoking a marbleized look, the key concept from the designer’s FW13 collection. So amazing.

STYLE: BA0009
A strong personality and modern allure are assigned to the feminine style with 1970’s inspiration. The square silhouette and exquisite finish make them signature Balenciaga. This model is also available in an acetate version.
STYLE: BA0010
An extraordinary mixture of refinement and comfort. Its square shape is classic with a unique, elegant metal inlay enhancing the frame, which is available in a textured, embossed leather or acetate.
STYLE: BA0001
Architectural volumes mix with lean lines in model BA0001. These feminine glasses are the result of associating different materials that blend together in a play of dimensions and colours. The “cat-eye” shape of the front is emphasised by a double structure of lenses, giving this model a futuristic look, keeping close to the DNA of the brand. The bold tones of the front frame are perfectly balanced by the more classic temple, enhanced with a metal B, initial of the brand.
