Misha Nonoo’s Resort 2015 collection was inspired by her woman, the multi faceted professional who is not confined to a power suit. According to Nonoo, artists Robert Motherwell and Wade Guyton triggered a deeper exploration on femininity in terms of silhouette and form. Sculpted skirts with fine horsehair create a wavelike effect reminiscent of Motherwell’s “Behind The Sea” series. Guyton’s shifted lines inspire a new play on transparency and opacity with offset sheer inserts on long, lean hemlines and collegiate knitwear. Sun-kissed colors paired with soft satins and lurex jacquards embody Nonoo’s composed timeless appeal.
Loving the clean, simple silhouettes and fresh colors and splash of print and sheer panels. Really cool looks.
