For Spring 2014, Vans and Stüssy collaborate to release a footwear collection compiled of an assortment of prints not seen since the ’80s and ’90s on Vans Original Classics silhouettes. The Vault by Vans x Stüssy collection features the original design specs of the Stüssy Tom Tom, Stüssy Bones and Stüssy 8 Ball prints.

The Vault by Vans x Stüssy collection retails from $65 to $80 and releases this June at all Stüssy Chapter doors and select Vault stockists.

The Old Skool, the Stüssy Tom Tom print revived on the OG Style 36 LX. First drawn by Shawn Stüssy in 1986, the Tom Tom pattern reappears on the medial and lateral sides of the skate lace-up. Soft suede and neon green overlays further emphasize the Style 36’s new wave-inspired aesthetic.

Introduced more than 20 years ago, the Stüssy 8 Ball print marks its return on the quarter panels on the OG Sk8-Hi LX. The arrangement has become one of Stüssy’s most celebrated patterns since its 1991 introduction. Vans’ iconic high-top brings the Vault by Vans x Stüssy collection to a close with a unique black/white colorway that is outfitted with the coveted pattern and finished with red leather Sidestripe detailing.

The Stüssy Bones print first debuted in 1988 and resurfaces this season as a collage pattern on the OG Era LX. Influenced by the ’80s skate scene, the allover motif reemerges in its original black and white form over the toe ramp and midfoot of the retro low top. Contrast coloring at the ankle counter and lining put the final touches on this special color-up of the OG Era LX.
