A-Morir Fall 2014 Campaign & Collection

A-Morir Fall 2014 Campaign & Collection

Wednesday, April 9, 2014 by Wendy Lam

A-Morir designer Kerin Rose Gold launches her Fall 2014 campaign, “Good Girl”, modeled by herself and shot by Kareem Black marking their fourth creative collaboration. The fall collection was inspired by the Byzantine era, the Middle Eastern spice markets, the artwork of Gustav Klimt, the concept of confrontational dressing brought to light by Vivienne Westwood and Johnny Rotten and the giant baroque desk in the A-Morir studio that Kerin works on every day. The eyewear pieces features heavy embellishments and have a feeling of opulence, underpinned by their artisanal detailing and Baroque aesthetic.

There are seven colors in the collection: gold, silver, siam, capri, emerald, jet and white; and this season introduces wrap around lariat eyewear, with elegant crystal trimmed tassels, and veiled eyewear made of high quality flocked polka dotted bridal veil available in two different lengths. As usual, the pieces were named after musicians; this all girl collection was named for the women in The Runaways, The Gogos, The Bangles, Shampoo, and some of Prince’s beautiful proteges.
