adidas by Rick Owens Autumn/Winter 2014-15

adidas and Rick Owens unveiled their latest footwear design, the Tech Runner ­ is the first look at the next season. The new footwear were “inspired by the aesthetic of Stealth Bomber aircrafts, Owens referenced the modernity of these flight machines when selecting the materials used to construct the Tech Runner.”

The footwear features high-quality leather and suede combined to create a neoprene-like fit, the midsole is composed of EVA, and rubber makes up the outsole (where Owens’ signature saw tooth profile can be seen as well). Of course, the collaborative effort between adidas and Rick Owens is seen on the Tech Runner as the silhouette features three perforated stripes, Owens’ signature on the heel strike, and the adidas Style Globe logo rounding off the design.
