Dolce&Gabbana Sicilian Jewels Make Up Collection

Winter is here and the holidays is just around the corner, have you planned out your outfits yet? Dolce&Gabbana launches a new makeup collection in time for the holiday season to get you ready for all your parties. The Sicilian Jewels Collection took its inspiration from the Autumn/Winter 2013-14 runway collection featuring intense gem-like colors for the lips and nails. The collection consists of four new shades of the Classic Cream Lipstick and corresponding Intense Nail Lacquers inspired by four gem stones: Ruby (deep red), Amethyst (bright purple), Emerald (ice-cold, luminous green) and Topaz (olden amber-yellow).

Dolce&Gabbana Make Up Creative Advisor, Pat McGrath, explains: “Matching your lipstick to your nail lacquer is a hot makeup trend. We chose four new shades that showcase the theatrical and playful side of looking good: they are so shiny and special that they’ll be a perfect complement to any holiday or New Year outfit. They can be worn in a young, ironic interpretation or with a more grown-up, sophisticated vibe. Just like a piece of jewelry.”
