A-Morir by Kerin Rose Gold launches its Spring/Summer 2014 “Pixie” collection featuring a campaign fronted by a ballet dancer John-Mark Owen. You can always expect Kerin to put out some extraordinary eyewear each season, the Pixie collection is a mix of strong and elegant designs blurring the lines between fantasy, reality, eyewear, and jewelry.
The collection draws inspiration from Bob Mackie’s costumes, New York City Vogue culture of the 80s and 90s, and outlaw motorcycle gangs. The range is comprised of new techniques and a refined modification and exploration of A-Morir’s classic elements. Expect unique eyewear like crystal masks, large crystal cateyes with oversized Swarovski gems, and some A-Morir classics are updated for a new look. This season A-Morir also introduces a very wearable and very daring concept of lensless and frameless eyewear, quite interesting. The eyewear is also named after an influential mix of punk pioneers and song sirens: The Pixies, The Big Boys, Television, Edith Piaf, Dalida, and Lene Nystrom.
As always, the collection is unique, fun and daring. Check out the campaign and lookbook after the jump…
