Warby Parker launched its Fall 2013 collection inspired by the “literary life well-lived”, this collection is unlike anything they’ve done before, combining acetate brow and nose lines with stainless steel-rimmed lenses. The collection debuts five new frames in a mix of materials, each name—Ames, Ripley, Rowan, Holcomb and Ellison—is a reverent bow to some of their favorite literary references of the time.
The 15 options, featuring sunwear and optical, provide midcentury style without the flea market goose chase. Purchase acetate frames for $95, and styles featuring both acetate and stainless steel for $145. As always, for every pair sold, a pair is distributed to someone in need.
