Nike launches the Free Flyknit today, designed to flex with the foot in motion, it fits like second-skin. “The Nike Free Flyknit unites two of Nike’s most innovative and popular technologies to deliver barefoot-like flexibility and a compression fit that locks the foot in place.” The shoe is constructed as a one-piece upper which reduces Nike’s typical upper waste by an average of 88 percent. “The advanced Nike Flyknit upper sits atop a Nike Free+ 5.0 midsole, which lies in the middle of the Nike Free spectrum, providing mid-range cushioning.”
I’m not going to get too technical about the shoe (you can read more about it here) but I’m a fan of the Flyknit so I’m definitely going to pick-up a pair of these new Free Flyknit. They look so comfortable! The Nike Free Flyknit retails for $160 and is currently available at nikestore.com in a variety of colorways.
